Final Summer action

This long dry spring brought plenty of visitors; past students, family, old friends, yoga and dance groups, and a wonderful meditation week. The flow, sometimes full and hectic, sometimes wide and calm, feels wonderful and reflects my mood. I’ve always felt clear at Nab in that the more I can centre and go inside the more I can bring and offer – in my relationships and in the world.

And Ruth and I have danced a beautiful 5 rhythms series, honouring my experience here and feeling the spirit of Nab move in me. When I leave I hope to carry this essence deep within.

But first – our final summer!

There will be 2 distinct ‘flavours’ to the summer. First, we’ll be running week long retreats. Sunday to Saturday. Each will have some familiar aspects to people who know us; coming together in the studio, spiral groups, yoga, walks, finding a deep connection – with ourselves and each other. There’ll be plenty of time for reflection, noticing what emerges into the stillness and welcoming it all. The retreats will have a ‘looking inwards’ quality, a sacred time for ourselves, body and mind.

After this there’ll be 2 weeks of ‘Open House’ with people choosing to be here as long or as short as they like, paying however much they feel is fair. We’ll still begin each day with an opening circle – and then go from there, each day different in numbers, quality, energy, and input. There may be drumming, dance, yoga, art. Perhaps a long walk with picnic or a long lunch with prosecco. Together we’ll celebrate being alive, community, and, always, loving connection!
