I’m moving on

Come next february it will be 40 years since Liz and I moved into Nab Cottage. Valentine’s day it was – how apt.

‘Gratitude is the memory of the heart’

I feel so much gratitude for so much over these years. For Liz and our relationship. For our children and our grandchildren. For the spirits who’ve mingled with us. For the opportunity to caretake Nab Cottage. For the people who’ve joined us in this weaving together of hearts, cultures, backgrounds, and wisdom. Thank you – thank you for everything.

And, after 40 years, it feels like time to move on. Time to create something new with Ruth. We plan to leave Nab Cottage in November 2025. In one year.

Before we leave we want to offer one final summer of loving connections, fulfilment and celebration.

From mid July we are running 3 weeks of retreats – at different levels with different flavours. More on this to follow soon.

Then, for the last 2 weeks of August (17 – 30) we are opening the cottage for people to join us for as long or as short as they like. Come for an hour, come for a week. What happens will evolve from the very special combination of people, time and place. There will be delicious food, meeting of friends old and new, music and dancing, yoga and meditation, swimming and saunas and hottubs, plenty of walking, and a backdrop of laughter and love. We ask only that you let me know when you’d like to come and for how long. You pay whatever you would like to pay – there will be no fixed charge. .
